As a child, I would wait all year for the holiday gatherings, and music was what touched me the most. As the end of the year approaches, we reflect on the past and prepare for another year ahead.

Hello! I'm originally from Caruaru, Pernambuco, Brazil. I studied at the Pernambucano Conservatory of Music and earned my degree in Piano from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). I moved to Portugal in 2013 to pursue a Master's degree in Composition at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. I completed the Master's in 2015 under the guidance of Professor Dr. António Pinho Vargas. Currently, I am working on my Ph.D. in Composition at the University of Évora, guided by Professor Dr. Christopher Bochmann. I've participated in various courses and masterclasses with world-renowned teachers like Eumir Deodato, Ancuza Aprodu, Maximiliano Genot, Marlos Nobre, António Pinho Vargas, among others. I have won numerous awards and received recognition as both a pianist and a composer.

Still in Brazil, I was a professor at the Pernambucano Conservatory of Music and an extension piano teacher at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). I have released six original albums available on all digital platforms. As a pianist, I've performed with a wide range of artists and groups, worked in opera, and have been teaching piano for over 20 years—in Brazil, in Portugal, and now globally through my online course. I perform in Portugal as an improvisational theater pianist with the Portuguese group 'Os Instantâneos.' I recently composed the soundtrack for the award-winning Portuguese film 'Canção de Embalar.' I have toured in Brazil and Portugal as a composer; in my most recent tour, I traveled across Portugal showcasing my compositions at the stages throughout the country.
